wherever we go, people stop to talk with us, and the kids are always following us and saying “How are you?!.” Zambians are poor in majority, but they are so kind and happy people.

Farewell to Zambia

Well my 6 months are over in Zambia and now I am in Durban South Africa preparing for my next part which is still not completely clear, but I think I will be going to \Mozambique for another 2 months. As for my last month or so in Zambia it was full of activities that kept me really busy.

Living out in the Bush in Zambia

I never thought living in the bush would be this hard, it is a hard life.There is never a moment when you are not doing something. Whether it is collecting firewood, fetching water, starting the fire to cook, cooking, taking a long deserved shower....the list could go on and on.

HOPE

The devastation of HIV/AIDS can be seen everywhere. The epidemic has torn the fabric of society. Members for the HOPE program will work with the people of Angola in the fight against the spread of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
