IICD and Humana People to People
The IICD has been training Development Instructors for Humana People to People projects since its start in 1989. At the moment, the IICD trains Development Instructors going to Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, Namibia, Zambia and South Africa, and typically the same projects, so when one Development Instructor leaves, the next will take over.
We have a good cooperation with the projects and their project leaders, through the contact with the Development Instructors in Africa and the school. There is a constant flow of information that can direct and guide the training. The staff from the IICD also travels to the projects from time to time in order to be able to improve the training. The cooperation between the IICD and other institutions training Development Instructors and the federation is described in "Directions Governing the Development Instructors at the DRH Schools and in the Federation".
