Directions by Car
From Albany: Take 90 East to exit 8 (Defreetsville exit), which puts you on Rte. 43. Follow 43 East all the way to IICD. IICD is on the left not far after the sign for Williamstown. (If you intersect with Route 7, you have gone too far). One hour travel time.

From Boston: Take 90 West (2hrs). Take Exit 2 to Route 20 North towards Lenox, which turns into Route 7 North towards Pittsfield. Follow Route 7 into Williamstown. You will come to a flashing traffic light with a store on your right called Five Corners. Take a left there onto 43 West (also Hancock Rd.). IICD is 2 miles on your right. 3 hours travel time.

From New York City: The easiest way is to take 87 North to 90 East in Albany (Do not take the Route 90 bypass (reading: to 90) which you will see about 45 minutes south of Albany -- take 87 all the way to 90 in Albany!). From 90 East, take exit 8 (Defreetsville exit), which puts you on Rte. 43. Follow 43 East all the way to IICD. IICD is on the left not far after the sign for Williamstown. (If you intersect with Route 7, you have gone too far). 3 hours travel time.

Greyhound, Bonanza and Peter Pan all offer service directly to Williamstown. You will be dropped off at the Williams Inn where we can pick you up. If you cannot catch a bus directly to Williamstown get your ticket to Albany, NY or Pittsfield, MA where we can also pick you up.

Directions by Train
The nearest Amtrak stations are in Albany, NY and Pittsfield, MA. Pittsfield is closer than Albany, and therefore the better choice if you can get a train there from your location. There is one train a day from Boston at 1:45 pm to Pittsfield. We can pick you up at the train station.
