The team plans this week together. It could be an investigation with a headline for the whole team or it could be several investigations carried out by smaller groups. The investigation could include massive outreach as well as an action to do something in relation to the topic under investigation.

Period 4: 1month spreading knowledge in the USA
Outreach is the main topic of this period. It can take many forms exploiting the special capacities of each member of the team, needs realizing while fighting shoulder to shoulder with the poor in how to spread the word about the need to stand shoulder to shoulder with the poor.
Elements of this period includes:
Information work in USA via presentations
Exhibitions in streets, schools, libraries and work places
Drama and theater as an element of presentations, on stage or in the streets
Global digital information about the realities of people in Latin America, giving a voice to those rarely heard via the school web site, articles on numerous other sites, e-mail to friends or in chat rooms
Making a film about fighting with the poor or about rich and poor in the Americas
Going on a tour with the bus as the hub of numerous outreach activities
Finding 10 new participants for the next team to ensure the steady expansion of the fight against poverty as it is played out in Humana People to People
Arranging a conference for schools in the area
Giving presentations in 20 community centers that care for the poor of the inner cities
The devastation of HIV/AIDS can be seen everywhere. The epidemic has torn the fabric of society. Members for the HOPE program will work with the people of Angola in the fight against the spread of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
