Hey I got a ride around on an elephant

Projectleader Michelle Wallas from Canada  took a Sunday off  sightseeing in a Zambian National Park...

I came out of my room and…
What a cutie!
I thought WOW pretty lucky, but they she/he/it stayed around like a dog looking for scraps ….
Then I came around the corner to…..
Hey wait a minute……
You would think they owned the place
So then I decided to go for a walk after breakfast………..
Little bit worrisome considering what I saw next…………
OK these lions are in a cage….
BUT THEN>>>>>>
Pretty SWEET!
Getting SWEETER>>>>>>>>>>>
These guys have the job to follow around the elephant all day and make sure she doesn't get killed by poachers…
Then they said "Hey would you like to sit on the elephant?"
UMMMM let me think…..YEAH!!!
Just my size!
Yup…sittin' on an elephant!
I was laughing because she didn't want to sit so I could get get off…hey I could ride around on an elephant for day, NO PROBLEM!

So the trick was I had to pet her ears….see she's smiling!
Then she didn't want to get up till we took one last foto!
So then we drove around and saw some of these….
And some of these……
These guys looked a bit tooo serious, I mean for someone who gets to hang around all day and eat….
And then these guys….
Oops caught him scratching….
Awww Zebras are so touchy feely with each other!
OK yes it is Bambi's mother, hiding out witness protect program, shhhhhh
And finally, THE BIG GUY, Sr Elan
So that was more or less the first 1- 1 ! hours of my day today and I gotta say so far it's a
pretty good Sunday!
